Following awards at the Liburnia Film Festival and the Split Film Festival, Iva Kraljević’s experimental documentary ‘Leave this Room Buried’ produced by Kreativni sindikat, will be screened in the International Competition Documentary Film programme of the 69th edition of DOK Leipzig, taking place from 26 October to 1 November 2026 in Leipzig.
In a world that is falling apart, the film follows a journey through a personal imaginary and
fragile verses, capturing grief, the complicity of silence and fragments of presence in what
remains. Iva Kraljević wrote, directed, shot, edited and designed the sound for the film, while the sound mix is by Ivan Zelić. The producers are Igor Grubić and Marijana Veljović, with
distribution by Bonobostudio.
Founded in 1955, DOK Leipzig is the world’s oldest documentary film festival. The festival
brings documentary and animated films together and, through its competition and supporting programmes, presents innovative authorial approaches and new forms of cinematic expression.
