Dea Jagić’s film Four at FilmFest Dresden!

After the 35th Curta Cinema Festival, where the film Four by director and animator Dea Jagić will have its world premiere, we have received more great news. The film is heading to the 38th Dresden International Short Film Festival (FilmFest Dresden), where it will be screened as part of the “Open Air Shorts” program, an outdoor screening in the city center.

Every April, the Dresden festival presents the best short films from around the world and attracts up to 20,000 visitors, including around 500 accredited guests.

Created using 2D animation and stop-motion pixilation, the film Four tells an intriguing story about four beings who, in a world without water, embark on a mystical journey to summon new life.

The film brought together numerous collaborators. Dea Jagić is responsible for direction, cinematography, animation, and production design. The screenplay was written by Dea Jagić and Božidar Trkulja, editing by Iva Kraljević, post-production by Mario Kalogjera, while sound design was created by Tomislav Turković and Tonči Kušek. The pixilation performer is Lidija Kraljić.

The film Four was produced by Kreativni sindikat, with Bonobostudio responsible for distribution. It was made with the support of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) and the City of Zagreb.
